What the connection receives
Lovsamling receives the legal search terms or source identifier explicitly sent in a tool call. It does not request your name, email, account profile, location, full conversation, documents or payment information. Use general legal keywords and source references. Do not send personal case details, confidential material, health information, national identity numbers or credentials.
The service and its hosting providers also process network metadata needed to deliver and secure requests, such as connection IP address, request time, HTTP status and error category. An IP address may represent OpenAI’s server rather than you. It is used for transport and abuse control, not profiling or advertising.
Purpose, recipients and storage
Search terms are sent to Lovsamling’s existing Supabase database to retrieve public legal records. The website runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers process the request and necessary operational metadata. Legal results are returned to the ChatGPT or Codex client that requested them. The connection does not call a separate generative model.
The plugin creates no persistent search history, user profile or conversation record. Tool inputs and results are held while serving the request. Rate-limit counters are kept only in worker memory, apply to a one-minute window, and are discarded on the next window’s request or when the worker ends. The plugin’s application error events contain a fixed error category, not query text, returned legal text, headers or IP addresses.
Operational logs available to Lovsamling have a retention window of up to seven days: Cloudflare Workers logs are retained for up to seven days, and our Supabase Pro database uses standard seven-day log retention. Database API logs may include search terms in request URL filters, so search terms must not contain personal or confidential information. The plugin does not export these logs into a separate history store. Providers may separately retain information where needed for security, abuse prevention or legal obligations under their own policies; see OpenAI’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Supabase’s privacy policy. Lovsamling does not sell this information or use it for advertising. The standard operational retention windows are documented by Cloudflare and Supabase.
Your choices
You control whether to enable the connection and what is sent through it. Disable or remove it in ChatGPT or Codex to stop future tool calls. Those products separately control conversation storage and data settings; removing the connection does not delete your existing ChatGPT or Codex conversations.
Public legal records can contain information published by a court. The connection excludes records flagged as restricted or embargoed and does not infer identities.
