Lovsamling provides two tools: Search Norwegian legal sources finds sources by Norwegian keywords, title or reference; Read a Norwegian legal source reads an exact source or provision. Every result includes a link, a stable legal reference and available source dates. Long texts include a continuation ID.
The connection is read-only and does not require a Lovsamling account. It cannot access your saved notes, conversations, files or business workspace. It does not make purchases or change records.

Coverage and limits
The tools use Lovsamling’s existing imported corpus of Norwegian laws, regulations and published unrestricted judgments. They do not search every Norwegian legal source, provide legal advice, or establish which wording applied on a past date. Missing results are reported explicitly. Restricted or embargoed judgments are excluded.
Generated explanations and analyses are separate from the legal source text and are not returned by this connection. Check the linked source and relevant dates before relying on an answer for a decision.
Sources and attribution
Laws and central regulations are imported through Lovdata’s public data API. Contains data distributed by Stiftelsen Lovdata under the Norwegian Licence for Open Government Data (NLOD) 2.0. Lovsamling structures and excerpts this material for retrieval. Judgments originate from the courts’ published material on domstol.no; their source links and reproduction notices are preserved.
Lovsamling is an independent service provided by Mustafa Zuboon. It is not a public authority and does not imply endorsement by OpenAI, Lovdata or the courts.
Connect during development
The public MCP endpoint is https://lovsamling.com/plugin/v1/mcp, using Streamable HTTP and no authentication. Directory installation becomes available after OpenAI review and publication.
